you must be trolling. you have a more powerful terminal in linux. in fact microsoft contracted canonical to bring bash and unix like features over to windows, they call it powershell.

Yeah, you can get powershell on Linux.  But the operating systems are different, so it's better to understand the Linux bash shell.  

 

If you enjoy Powershell, you can probably write Linux cmdlets with it.  But don't expect to use windows cmdlets on it though.
