depends on where you saved your game when you first downloaded it. either your SSD or HDD so I'd check. if it's steam its usually the default drive for steam.

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 7900XT Triple Fan | G.Skill 32GB 2x D5 6000

then you answered your own question? you said you downloaded it to your HDD so i guess its saved into the hard drive.

It tends to depend on the game. Some are in a folder within the user's directory (the OS drive). Sometimes, it's in the installation folder (whichever drive you installed the game on).

CPU: i7 4770K  |  Corsair H80i  |  ASUS Z87-Pro  |  8GB Corsair 1866Mhz  |  GPU: MSI Gaming X RX 480 8GB  |  Corsair HX  750

One of the following places:

  • %APPDATA% (type this in Explorer's location bar)
  • C:\Users\[Username]\Documents folder
  • C:\Users\[Username]\Saved Games folder
  • Where the game itself is installed (rare)
  • Some special folder elsewhere, like UPlay games are saved in the UPlay's install folder sometimes.

You can copy and paste it somewhere else, you just have to copy and paste it back if you want to use the data.
