There is not a problem with the EVGA VRM,

Furmark is not a usual use case.

EVGA has started to accept RMA's and they are also sending out DIY pad installation kits which are optional

Has EVGA fixed the problems with the vrms?

somewhat. they have identified the problem. they have offered free thermal pads to customers. I guess thats the appropriate and practical response.

No mention on the landing page of the web site. Ironically their web site is promoting a "haunted hardware event"

The problem was in the fact that they used pads that weren't thick enough for the application.  In some cases, the thermal pads weren't even making contact with the VRMs and in some cases, the memory.  Both of mine had a gap between the pad and the memory...easily remedied, but...it is a very real problem.  lol

It's unfortunate, but atleast all your RAM is full speed!

Yes, it's 2871 as in the year 2871. I traveled all this way, back in time, just to help you. And you thought your mama lied when she said you were special-_-

Yea, new batches of ftw cards should have the mistake corrected. Best to wait 1-2 months.

Problem wasn't that the reviewer used Furmark(the reviewer used furmark to stress different cards for 2 hours) multiple ftw owners reported cards burning, black screen issues cause by out of spec vrm components.
