yes they are compatible; if you scroll down to the pic of board with the numbers; number 10 is the m2 slot.

 

that SSD has a 5 year warranty which puts it above all the others that are only 3 year warranty.

As the guys pointed out, the SSD should work fine on that particular motherboard. 

 

As @SmashinMachine suggested you could opt for a PCIe-based SSD which could perform better but not necessarily. Depending on what you do on your system you may or may not see any real world performance differences aside from transfer speeds.

 

Mind that sometimes PCIe-based SSDs do perform better in expense for other parts of the motherboard such as potential decrease in performance of GPUs connected to specific PCIe ports. 

 

You may even check out NVMe-based SSDs in the future instead of AHCI-based PCIe SSDs. Here's a video giving more information on this:
