Need help with solving G-Sync problems

Go to solution Solved by WereCat,

OK.

I fixed this.

ALSO THIS MAY BE GAME DEPENDENT SO IT WONT WORK 100% BUT I ONLY ENCOUNTERED ONE GAME WHERE IT DOESENT WORK AND THAT IS - Owerwatch - EVEN THEN IT DOES HELP QUITE A BIT.

Solutions:

1.) G-Sync drops your FPS to the 20-24FPS range?

Go to Control Panel - Power Management - Choose what the power buttons do menu (on the left side) - Uncheck Fast Boot then restart your PC.

2.) Your FPS are now fine but whenever you run video or some game client with animations on your other monitor when you play games in windowed or borderless mode your FPS suddenly fall down and you get a lot of stuttering?

Go to NVIDIA Control Panel - 3D Settings - Program Settings - click on ADD - Find your web browser and add it - CHANGE these settings "Preffered refresh frequency" to CONTROLED BY APPLICATION and "Monitor technology" to FIXED REFRESH RATE.

You may want to do this for every application that will cause this issue. For me changing the browser settings was enough.

This fixed stuttering in every game I tested (CS:GO, Rocket League, Dota 2) but it didnt fixed stuttering in Overwatch. However it reduced stuttering in Owerwatch by a lot and the game is completely playable in windowed or borderless mode however runing it on full screen is still better.

Hi. Last friday I purchased the AOC AG271QG and it has G-Sync. Gaming on it is really amazing however I am starting to get pissed off by G-Sync enough to the point I was actualy thinking about returning this monitor and get the €200 cheaper model without G-Sync.

The issue is that I use two monitors. The other one is EIZO Foris FS2333 so I really want to play games in Windowed/Borderless mode.

Sure when I go to NVIDIA Control Panel I can setup G-Sync to work in Windowed/Borderless mode but there are two issues.

Issues:

1.) When runing games in Windowed/Borderless mode on Windows 10 the games are stuck on 22FPS. I solved this issue by dissabling FastBoot in Windows 10.

2.) After fixing the first problem the games now run on 160FPS in Windowed/Borderless mode but they still stutter quite a bit which still makes it unusable. I havent found how to fix this issue. Anyone there who could help me? I am forced to play games on FullScreen in the mean time.

(I go to work so I will be slow at replying). Thanks for suggestions in advance.
