So I'm brand new to custom water cooling, and I've got all the parts..mostly. I have a link to all of them:

CPU Waterblock: http://www.performance-pcs.com/ek-supremacy-mx-cpu-waterblock-ppcs-custom-star-wars-trooper-edition.html#Details

Tubes: http://www.performance-pcs.com/primochill-1-2in-rigid-petg-tubing-36in-clear-4-pack.html#Specifications

Compression Fittings: http://www.performance-pcs.com/bitspower-g1-4-black-sparkle-compression-fitting-cc2-ultimate-for-id-3-8-od-1-2-tube.html#Specifications

Pump and Reservoir: http://www.performance-pcs.com/phobya-dc12-260-12volt-pump-alphacool-lighttower-all-in-one-reservoir-combo.html#Specifications

Radiator: http://www.performance-pcs.com/alphacool-nexxxos-st30-industry-hpc-series-x-flow-240mm-radiator.html

The cpu  waterblock is a problem..see, I'm not sure what rigid tube fittings to get. I see 12mm and 16mm, and I'm not sure what to get. I'm worried that the fittings may not even be correct for the tubes, etc. So any help with understanding those rigid tube fittings on the CPU waterblock would be helpful..and just kind of editing maybe what I have in general to make it easy? Thanks.

If your going for hardline those are the wrong fittings, they are for soft tubing the ones you will want are theses from primochill, as they are one the very few ones out there that use inch exact tubing. Also just note that you are using a cross flow rad so the tubing will be on either side of the rad instead of on one side which is more common.

The first step would be to find tuning in mm, the second would be look for hardline compression fittings (they won't have a barb on the inside, instead, they have a set of O-rings), and the third would be to come back with an updated list.

EK does have a configurator that you could use.

As mentioned, wrong fittings there. The PETG tubing you've linked is 12mm (actually it's 12.7mm based on an accurate conversion of 1/2"), so you'd need 12mm hardline fittings for that. As W-L says (and the aforementioned measurement suggests), you really want to stick with the same brand of fittings as tubing, whether you go with Primochill or not. They are certainly known for having exacting sizes, but combining other brands can also sometimes be an issue. If you are going to mix, be double sure they will go together, otherwise you could find things don't go together so well, and worst case you end up with leaks. For example, for that tubing you've linked, you would get a fitting like the Primochill Rigid Ghost (other colours are available). For sizing, the OD measurement (outer diameter) is the one you want to pay attention to, but as I say, just because two brands give the same measurement doesn't mean they are mm identical.

Personally I've never had any experience with Primochill, so I can't speak to their quality. EK and Bitspower are generally regarded as the best brands, which are expensive, although I've been hearing many good things about Barrow lately and they are very affordable.
