Windows Update Error

Greetings.

 

I am Using Windows 8.1 Pro, 64-bit. I will admit to trying to use an illegitimate installation of Windows and using a product key I found on the internet. However, it didn't seem to work, as I kept getting notifications that my Windows license was due to expire, so I decided to buy an OEM key on Kinguin.

 

I was trying to update Nexus Mod Manager when an error message showed up saying I needed Microsoft's .NET Framework 4.6 to run it. When I tried installing that, I got another message that said-

 

'The update corresponding to KB2919355 needs to be installed before you can install this product on Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2'.

 

I headed over to PC Settings and tried to install the update, until I realized that I had tried to install the same update before. It hadn't worked then, and it still doesn't work now.

The error message I got when I tried this a month ago was: The update 'Windows 8.1 Update for x64-based Systems (KB2919355)' failed to install with 'Error Code 80246007'.

 

I just tried reinstalling it, and got 'Error Code 8024200B' the firs time, and 'Error Code 8024200D' the second time.

After that, I tried updating Windows, and have received the same error message ever since. 

 

What can I do to fix this? Would using the 'PC Refresh' tool in the 'Recovery' tab of PC settings solve my problem? Please keep in mind that I don't have any backups of the data on this computer yet, and while I'll take care of that soon, reinstalling Windows and then restoring all my data is the last resort.

 

I'm desperate to fix this, and would be extremely grateful for any help.
