Windows having trouble updating

so i installed windows 7 a few weeks ago (cant remember when, my retard bios was set to 01/01/1970. just check my post history) and i havent been able to update it

svchost uses almost 2gb ram and 50% cpu constantly

i have left it open for days with nothing happening

the latest version of windows update is installed

what do

ill post a pic of whats happening

PC specs: i7 4770s, Zotac GTX 1070 Mini, 16GB DDR3L 1600MHz (2x8GB, cheap Crucial RAM), Crucial BX500 480GB , 2x WD Blue 1TB, Seagate Barracuda 1TB, Windows 7

Laptop Specs: i5 5350U, Intel HD something, 8GB (probably DDR3 idk), 128GB Samsung(?) SSD, MacOS whatever the newest one is

The issue is solved in later updates of the OS... you just need to get there.

hmm. that might be difficult. windows update troubleshooter said "service registration is missing or corrupt". im going to try again and see if it works
