Is hyper 212 EVO enough?

It depends on how much volts you have to put through your chip to get 4.2Ghz, my 3570k gets away with 1.176v at 4.3Ghz and my max temps are 70c.

So in about a month I will get and i5 4670k and I would like to overclock it.(Mobo UD3H)

My question is if a Hyper 212 is enough? I want to Oc to 4.2Ghz

 

Searched the web and did'nt find a clear answer

The Hyper 212 is a great air cooler! I have seen loads recommend it including myself! I can't see you having a problem, just be sure to monitor your temps, good luck!

Depends on the one you get but I would say so. I have a 212+ on a 3770k @ 4.3 and I did have it on a 2500k @ 4.4.

I hope i will be able to reccomend it, as im waiting over a month and a half on it... i hate my local store (assholes, but they are cheap as air)
