My friend's 60fps looks better than mine on a 144hz?

TheSuspect

I have an Asus VG248qe, and my friend has a Samsung S24d300h. So, whenever I set my monitor to 60hz, and spin around in cs go quickly, it doesn't look as smooth/fluent as my friend's display. (1080p60fps). We're both getting far above 60fps and we're both using Nvidia drivers (latest). I'm using DualLink Dvi, my friend is using Hdmi. Ideas?

(And nothing above the human eye not seeing above 24/60 or whatever fps, please.)

Nothing.

it can be ambient lighting, you should just try switching monitors to see if the problem presists. for example, led lights flash at 50hz or 60hz depending on your power grid, that can create the illusion that its 50 or 60hz. other than that i wouldn't know.

Certain video settings maybe. Has he got Vsync on and you off?

We both don't have Vsync enabled
