Abnormaly High Gpu & cpu usage

Hey guys

So not long go i build a pc and it seems that when playing games such as overwatch my cpu goes to 75% and ive seen it hit 90% usage and my Gpu goes to 70%-80% playing it at highest quality 1080p.........(side note- Psu is buzzing when gaming (it may be the Gpu because its near the PSU its hard to tell though im pretty sure it is my cx750m corsair) 

 

 

CPU I5-6600k

GPU-Msi gaming x 1070

Mobo- Msi gaming m5

PSU-cx750m

 

Cpu temp ~54

thats because the game is taxing the cpu

Could be CPU yes. Check taskmanager under performance and set the total usage graph to logical cores. See if some are maxed out during gaming.

That is pretty high usage yes, but on high settings could be how it is supposed to be.  Anyway you can OC your CPU for better performance. Or is it already OCed?

And what about your GPU?

 

Anyway despite the 1070 being a awesome card, the story is still that games are more demanding then that current GPU's can deliver (also because the optimization off games also get worse imo overall). But high usage is no problem aslong as the game plays smooth still....

No none are overclocked..

 

as long as the game runs smooth and the pc does it job well. My only concern is that this is my investment, and i want to work as well as the money i put into it. (Also im more likely to get an easier rma now than in the future since i bought it 2 months ago)

Well if the parts perform as they should there is not much you can get from RMA.

 

Think all is good overall, and you could get more by OCing if you notice you run into limits by hardware performance.

 

Some games ask a different load from your PC then others. There are always bottlenecks somewhere and the demand in games currently overall go fast up, because there come cards that can perform more. Thats a cycle that is not going away for now. And results are magnified because of the earlier mentioned sometimes worse implementation by game designers because of time pressure and overall more work put on them.
