Hello guys,

Let me start by telling you all that I don't know much about pc's, the company where I work at wanted me to build a pc for them because I know the most about at my company.

The parts:

- Motherboard: Asus x99 deluxe II

- CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2650 v4 - Boxed

- Graphics card: Gigabyte Geforce GTX TItan x2

- Ram: G.Skill 64GB DDR4-3400

- PSU: Cooler master V1000

- SSD: Intel 750 400GB
- HDD: Western digital Red - 4TB

- Case: Corsair Graphite 760T - Arctic White

- Nvidia SLI bridge

- CPU cooler: Corsair H115i

If you want more info, feel free to ask.

Now I've encountered a few problems, the pc seems to boot up fine but I'm getting a constant orange light on the motherboard.

And also I don't get a display on my monitor.

Also I have my cpu cooler plugged in, in the usb connector of the motherboard, now I don't know where my other usb cable of my front panel has to go.

If anyone can help, I still have more questions. But I don't want to look like an idiot ^^

Btw, this is my first build ;)

Thanks in advance guys!

Check all the cables. Maybe you haven't connected them properly. CPU and GPU cable might look the same so maybe you misconnected them. When you check them all and it still doesn't boot up, try to run it with one GPU.

Thanks for responding so quickly, I've managed to get the power on and I'm in the bios right now. But the orange light is still on all the time.

I wouldn't worry about that   My MoBo also has an LED thats lit all the time.Check your MoBo manual to see what light should be on all the time.

The light that is on, is the DRAM_LED light, in my manual it says: LED stays lit up until the problem is solved.

Try re-seating your RAM modules, and make sure they're firmly in place. If you still get issues, first try clearing the CMOS via the CLR_CMOS button near the bottom middle of the board. Then try using the MemOK! button near the upper right of the board to get it to automatically test acceptable settings for the memory.

No, it's orange for sure :)

Sure it's the DRAM_LED ?

Here is a YT video showing what and where the DRAM-LED looks like/is.

The orange makes it sound like it's the power light letting you know the MoBo has power to it (even when switched of with the power button the board is still powered) this is just a reminder that the power has to be switched off or unplugged at the wall

Thanks guys, the CLR_CMOS button worked and then the MemOK! worked fine aswell. Im in the bios right now, but I still can't figure out where I have to put my 2nd usb connector in for regular usb, not 3.0 usb

It looks like that board only has a single USB 2.0 header for front panel support, while the rest is 3.0. If you want to get that working, you'll need an adapter like this one (that one seems to use a stock image, but the listing is for a USB 3.0 female to USB 2.0 male, which is what you want).

Looks like they are between the  case umbilical pins and the USB-3 headers.

That looks like it might be the v1 of that board; The II only shows as having a single USB2 header:

That explains it then.
