DX12 mode BF1 and cpu bottlenecking

My CPU is obviously bottlenecking my gpu for now , does DX12 mode help with that or does it make it even worse ?

In theory DX12 should perform better and put more work on GPU.

But there are some reviews, showing that DX12 sometimes perform even worse than DX11.

Try it out and see if it help you :)

I do not think it will help. I use to have a i5 -2400 and it bottleneck my gtx 1060. I think the only think you can do is change the cpu.

well most of LTT's results on this is because their test rig has the best CPU and it's GPU bottlenecked most of the time , that's why the DX12 benchmarks are sometimes worse ( IMO )

Theoretically, DirectX12 should lower the CPU overhead but from what I've seen in Battlefield 1, stuttering is much more prominent on DX12 as opposed to DX11.

the dx 12 can help with mutil core performace in cpu, but i5 2310 only have 4 core. I don't think dx 12 will help a lots

any way there is no harm to try : )
