WHY CAN'T THEY STOP I AM ALWAYS THINK (NO DON'T BUY THAT WAIT) OVER AND OVER AGAIN...

it is maketing, bussiness, consumer, demand, etc. Gaming. Not much we can do. It not that bad actully.

To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.

They enjoy our money way to much. Plus it's no fun to show everything you have at the start.

Yep, it's like having poker and if you show your cards at the start it may lead you to lose :)

The way hardware manufacturing works, is not like software.

With software, when you are done a set of feature/bug fixes that was planned, you release it as a new version, and start planning the next verison immediatly after.

For hardware, you split the company engineers in big teams.

When Team 1 is almost finished with product A

Team 2 start working on product B

Team 3 start research on product C.

Making a new GPU architecture takes multiple years. You can't go "ok guys here is GeForce 600 series, please be patient for the next 4-5 years for our next GPU." If they do that, then you'll be left in the dust by the competitors.

So how is Nvidia launching a new gen of cards so quick, are they going to be a rebranding or will they be worth waiting on a 700 series for?

They have team 1 working on architechture x and team 2 on archithechture y and team 3 working on architechture z and they will have the tech for next gen cards almost finished when their predeccesor get's released.
