Soooo i wanna buy a GPU first i only searched for Nvidia GPUs because they have shadowplay. But someone said to me that amd has something like that too so i researchd a bit and found out about plays.tv. My question is showd i go with an Nvidia GPU (gtx 960 or 1050TI) with shadowplay or buy an amd one (rx 470) which has higher performance?

And play.tv is stable?

Get the AMD, Plays.tv is very stable, and you can even record using OBS which IMHO is better than shadowplay.

Nvec and VCE are the coding engine for nvidia and AMD, like the post above said obs can take advantage of both (VCE plugin on their website) if you play with some settings. But if you just want plug and play 1080p 60fps recording either brand will do just fine. Also the Rx 470 is heads above the 960 and 1050ti in performance general performance.

OBS and Xbox DVR are good 3rd party solutions. Dont let shadowplay or plays.tv be a deciding factor in buying a GPU.

but in obs (if i know right) the "official" "stable" versions only have nvidia nvenc what is = shadowplay

It used to require a separate version of OBS (still worked just fine), now it should be consolidated in OBS Studio.

Plays.tv is crap, just ask any content creator with an AMD GPU.

Shadowplay is far superior to that.
