Hello Guys!

I am about to buy a new mainboard for the upcoming Kaby Lake Processor Generation but i cant decide which one i should buy. My current mainboard is a MSI Z170 A PC Mate and will not support the next Generation.

I will go for a white build in my new NZXT S340 Elite white, so a white mobo would fit well in this.

Now i have looked up two Mainboards from Gigabyte and Asus but i do not know which board and brand is better:

Gigabyte z170x gaming 7:http://m.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/Gigabyte-GA-Z170X-Gaming-7-EU-Intel-Z170-So-1151-Dual-Channel-DDR4-ATX-Ret_1010547.html

Asus z170 s sabertooth:http://m.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/Asus-SABERTOOTH-Z170-S-Intel-Z170-So-1151-Dual-Channel-DDR4-ATX-Retail_1029083.html

So which brand do you prefer. I do not know if Gigabyte is a good option. I only know that asus makes good overall Quality.

Thanks!

im pretty sure the motherboard you have will support Kabylake but if you are going to get a new motherboard for a white themed build the Sabertooth looks way way WAAAAAY better

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

Why not wait for the 200 series boards when they come out? if you get a z170 board you may have to buy a cheap pentium or something in order to update the bios for kabylake support.

 •E5-2670 @2.7GHz • Intel DX79SI • EVGA 970 SSC• GSkill Sniper 8Gb ddr3 • Corsair Spec 02 • Corsair RM750 • HyperX 120Gb SSD • Hitachi 2Tb HDD •
