Well the store is one thing, but in Denmark (where I live), we have it in the exact same store, and the 1866 is still more expensive. I guess I'll just take the 2133 anyway.

yeah speed difference won't matter and even if it does it won't affect gaming at all. even if it does the higher speed should be better

Hey everyone, I stumbled across this weird thing where a 2x8GB 1866 RAM set from Ballistix costs more than their 2x8GB 2133 RAM set costs. How come, and should I just take it and run away with the 2133 one or is there anything I've overlooked, and the 1866 does better than the 2133? I'll leave a picture for you guys to see as well.

Higher speed looks better on paper, but never even touches gaming performance. In reality, if your mobo only supports up to 1600Mhz, you would have to go through the hassle of going into the UEFI/BIOS and setting the DRAM frequency and timings. I personally would get it and you should too, it's cheaper and better, why not?

Yeah I was just worried that the 1866 had some king of spec that's making it worth a lot more. But it seems not, so I'm just going to go with the 2133. Thank you!
