Afterburner Run in background

Hello,,

I have a custom fan curve set in msi afterburner and and i want it to run in the background but not on my task bar.

For example in task manager you can see that programs are running that arn't on the task bar (example: Realtek HD Audio Manager). That is what i want with afterburner.

Anyone know how this might be done?

whats wrong with having it on the task bar

Just open it up and make sure everything is setup and then just minimize it, it will be in your system tray but not open on your task bar

I just want it to run itself when i start my pc and I don't want to have extra programs on my taskbar when i am not using them. I like my pc to stay very clean looking.

Theres a button on msi afterburner that makes it start with windows

What you can do is when you minimize it so the icon is in the system tray, click and hold the icon then a little box will open up and you drag it into that little box. That makes it so an arrow will pop up and only when you click that arrow the icon will show.

Open it in a different desktop in windows ten and then just never go to that desktop. I do that with all my monitoring softwares.
