M.2 PCI-E and GPU performance

Alright lads. I'm considering getting a PCI-E M.2 SSD but am wondering if it would affect GPU performance?

 

not sure if it matters but here are my specs:

i7 6700k

ASUS Z170-P

Gigabyte GTX 1060 6GB

No, as they use separate PCI lanes, though first of all, why did you get a M.2 PCI-E SSD?

Nope cause the m.2 on Z170 is powered by the chipset rather than CPU lanes

I have not purchased on yet. I currently have a PNY SSD. I was considering a M.2 PCI-E because I do a lot of video editing and they don't cost thaaaat much.
