Hello, Linusians!

I am rising from my metaphorical grave and rejoining the PC building community after 3 long years of basically hiding! I come with a request however. I noticed that my gtx 770 was starting to not play games at the impeccable level I was used to, and so I bought a second. Lo and behold, my motherboard that I had purchased in 2013 was not compatible with sli. So I decided, while I'm upgrading my motherboard already, I may as well go ahead and upgrade my cpu from my old FX 8320 and see what I can do on the intel side of things. Given http://pcpartpicker.com/list/FMyVBP as my current build (roughly, I added a few case fans and that's probably not the right psu, it is the right brand and wattage though) what should I do to upgrade my build's cpu and mobo with a $300 total price limit?

Notes: This will be used mostly for gaming. Not changing the cpu is also an acceptable answer. $300 is my limit, but the lower you can go without sacrificing performance or features the better.

TLDR: Newish cpu/mobo sli compatible gaming combo for less than $300 recommendations?

Thanks!

Mopuness

I still want the sli capabilities though, think I should just stick with AM3+?

Replace the CPU, GPU, Motherboard and RAM if you want to a preformance boost, a second GTX 770 in SLI is not recommended and a FX 8320 is going to be a bottleneck.
