Flashing custom ROM

i was messing arround with my GTX 970 nvflash bios with ROMS i have the nvflash EXE with the files patch thing and i want to run using CMD it doesn't work it asks what i want the file to be opened with...

you need to create a dos bootable drive and do it from dos, not windows

read the step by step guide you provided . don't do what i just said .

 

Did you extract the contents of nvflash in C:\nvflash ?

did you also put the custom bios in that same folder ?

Yes and it all worked

did you cd into that folder ?

Did you disable the gpu from DM ?

 

you should type this in the admin CMD

nvflash 980tweak.rom -6 ( or if that doesn't work try nvflash.exe 980tweak.rom -6

that might be the issue . Also you have to do it from the command prompt (admin ) , not the GUI .

 

Just replace the name 980tweak.rom with the name of your file ( MSIGTX970420BLAZEIT.rom )
