Xbox One S or gpu

So I can pick up an xbox one S with 5 games (minecraft, halo, halo masterchief, ac unity and forza horizon 3) + lego movie for 299 or should use the money to buy a 1050 ti /1060. ( other than my gpu my pc is pretty up to date : 4790k, 16Gb ram, ssd,...)

 

Which one should I pick?

Let me get this straight...

 

You have just asked a tech forum where literally 90% of the content is custom built gaming PCs if you should buy a Console or a GPU?

If you're primarily a PC gamer, get a new GPU. If you hop between the couch and the desk, the XB1S. The XB1S also doubles as a UHD BluRay player if you cared about that.

Funnily enough i had the same debate with myself on saturday. I ended up getting the xbox one s for 150 dollars but thats because i already have a gtx 770. Maybe buy a 1060 then save up for an xbox one some other day.

I say PC is always better than console, simply because of the greater use and the number of games available on PC that are not available on console.

personally i would go with the gpu, but i am mainly a pc gamer and you may prefer otherwise.
