You don't. User defined settings are that, use defined. They live and die with the user. If you want to avoid resetting your preferences, find out where it keeps a copy of those settings. If it's a well-behaved, modern app and this is Windows, it's usually in your %APPDATA% folder, otherwise your Documents folder.

Ok, let's predefine it; is it possible to modify default installation settings?

Short of contacting the publisher of the app and telling them to make a customized install or if it's an open source program compiling it yourself with said settings? No.
