Recording setup

Go to solution Solved by Bsmith,

ram and CPU will do, but if you want to get the most out of your system a gtx1060 will only do for a short while knowing how quickly games up their game regarding specs, especially triple A games won't last long on high/ultra settings.

Hi everyone im looking for some opinons from you guys

I want to stream and recorde some games(league of legends, csgo.. etc)

And play some new games like mafia 3 and gta V

Right now my setup is:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz (8 CPUs)

16gb of 1600mhz ram

Nvidia GT730 4gb card

WD blue hard disk 1tb

And im planning to buy a gtx1060 3gb card

And some tips on streaming and recording software. (And some recommendations on a graphics card) :)

Sorry for bad english.

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

I would not expect to be running demanding games on ultra with that setup simply due to your hard drive and graphics card however you would still be able to play most games with moderate settings with the GTX 1060, and as far as recording goes, I would suggest using Open Broadcaster Software for that because if you have a GTX 600 series and above you will be able to use the Nvidia NVENC codec which will be able to record your game with little to no game performance impact. I would suggest watching this video to learn how to record your games and this video to learn how to stream your games to Twitch, it is rather lengthy however if you are new to recording and streaming it is very useful.

that's a good one yes, the harddrive might be a l;imiting factor in load times, a huge limiting factor.

What can i do about that? Buy an sdd or?

SSD will help alot yes, but due to costs it might be out of your reach, harddrives from western digital or seagate with higher read/write speeds then the one you currently have will be a big improvement for sure, with your current drive big files/games will take an incredible time of loading/saving due to the way it works.

May the light have your back and your ISO low.
