need help to get motivated

i started a mod for my pc, i was going to change the leds in my fans to rgb leds and wire them to my rgb led strip but after messing up and using the wrong diodes twice (soldered and glued two fans, re did them and found out it was wrong again) after this i sortof gave up and i need motivation to get this project done before this weekend because im going to a lan party. now that i have left it for so long im kindof dreading starting back on it... like, i know im going to be pleased with my result but it feels like a chore and not something id do for fun.

 

what could i do to get this done?

Reward yourself for the effort you've made so far by doing something you enjoy. Now, when you're done, you don't do that again until the job's done properly.

 

Like "I really want to play a game, but I've got to get this shit done first!"
