Link Fallout 4 to Steam?

Go to solution Solved by Nashiwa,

Never mind, I tried putting the CD key directly in Steam and apparently it worked...sorry!

Hey guys!

So I recently bought a boxed version of Fallout 4 (for 20$ it was really a good deal), but when I opened the box I noticed there was no Steam code, only the DVD and CD key in order to install the game "normally".

Is there a way to redeem the game through Steam so that I can have access to the achievements?

It's a steamworks game. It should install steam with the disk. If you have a non-DRM version of it then either it's a cracked copy or you have an expensive rarity on your hands. :P

You can launch it through steam, but I dont believe there is a way to link a game not purchased on it to it.

Well, it's certainly not a cracked copy, I bought it in Fnac in Europe, which is pretty much the equivalent of Best Buy in the US ;)
