Motherboard recommendation request

Hi all!

I'm look for a motherboard that is cheap, and doesn't need to be high end.

The main purpose for this build is for music and a little movie watching only.

The reason being I have a Xonar Essence STX in hand and would like a dedicated but cheap motherboard just for this card.

A CPU recommendation accompanying this build would also be nice, again, for music playing and movie watching only.

Hope to hear from you guys soon! Thanks in advanced

Any board with a slot to fit that card would work, but you also have to consider the cpu, ram, and such as well, or are you just planning a computer around a sound card?

Hey just to clarify, as cheap as possible, but still runs windows smooth enough for foobar2000 and VLC with somewhat good video playbakc capacity (APU sounds great), hoping the motherboard won't come with audio integrated. really just looking for a mobo and a APU, no over clocking, gaming required

Budget? Cpu? Do you want to OC?

Whats the rest of your build? What size?

Building around this sound card so don't have much other than a HAF case
