Volume 3 is the best out of the three by quite a bit... You should really watch it!

It's so awesome!  I love it!  ?    (I'm an adult I swear I am.  lol)

I just got the steelbook Blu-Ray release of volumes 1-3.  Can't wait to watch it.  I haven't seen volume 3 yet since I've been following RWBY on Blu-Ray.

What really drew me in at first was the fight scenes. I followed it pretty closely from the start 'cause, well, those trailers... Monty knew what the hell he was doing.

RWBY's one of those things where certain parts of it are difficult to watch, but other parts of it are so damn good that I enjoy the whole thing anyway.

It's been a while since I've seen any RWBY but yeah I do remember the fight scenes are really good.

Ruby Rose is definitely my favorite character and the most unassuming and adorable badass ever.  ?    Here scythe weapon is awesome and the whole kind of goth Little Red Riding Hood look is too.

Also the song (I think it's the opening theme for Volume 1) "This Will Be The Day" sounds great.  Really gets into your head.

When you say difficult to watch do you mean you don't like those parts or because something intense is happening?

Actually I'm more in favor of RWBY to be considered an anime even though I don't actually watch anime on a regular basis.

Chinese? I think you meant Japanese? But yes, in my mind, if it's animated and at least influenced by traditional Japanese anime, it's anime, which is literally the short Japanese term for animation. If it's made in Japan, it's Japanese anime. If it's made in China, it's Chinese anime. RWBY is either American anime, or Texan anime, depending on whether or not you live in Texas.

When hen you say difficult to watch do you mean you don't like those parts or because something intense is happening?

What I mean is that sometimes the voice acting and timing can get pretty awkward. It became less and less of a problem as the show went on, but there are occasional times when I can't help but cringe.

But, like I said, It's friggin' great in spite of that.

EDIT: Oh, and by the way, my favorite song is "Red Like Roses"~

It's not technically an anime.  Anime is by definition from Japan.  But RWBY is awesome in its own right even if it's not an anime so it's a non-issue to me.

By my understanding, 'anime' is just the style. So I'd say with some confidence that RWBY's an anime.

I was debating finally getting a First subscription to watch the first episode because I've also been wanting to see some Funhaus First content as well. RWBY has really grown since it's inception and has gotten a lot better.

This was mostly a Volume 1 issue in my opinion. I almost didn't continue to Volume 2 because of it but I noticed the voice acting got a lot better once they were more comfortable as their characters.

Side note: I really need to re-watch it all.

Not enough guns and trucks to be a Texan anime.

A style for animated content from Japan.  I would say RWBY is in the style of anime but due to its American origin is not technically anime.

Like I said it doesn't diminish how good RWBY is though.

Sorry if I seem pushy about this but I've known too many people that mix up anime with American animation and cartoons specifically so it's hard for me not to make the distinction between anime and American animation.  ?
