SO back in the BF1 beta people were complaining about microstuttering when using DX12 and it wasnt apparently finished during the time so i thought that maybe during release it will be optimized and fixed. However im still having issues running the game in DX11 mode due to my ancient FX-6350 and DX12 is still causing microstutters. Is this only a problem for me or are other having the same issue too? Could it be my old processor or just the game itself?

There where new drivers yesterday I think, for Battlefield 1 from both Nvidia and AMD. Check those out if this improves your situation. Also DX11 seems the overall better solution currently.

Dx12 isn't a solution to all potential performance issues it's is merely an lower level api the developers need to put a lot more effort into dx12 than dx11 to work out optimization issues

You shouldn't worry about DX12 problems at the moment.

Use DX11 or mantle if you can.

DX12 still needs a lot of work and developers still need to learn how to code for it properly.

This will take many months. as DX11 is still "profitable" so many don't bother as much as they should with DX12.

It's not a race to the bottom.
