So this is a bit of a continuation to what I posted earlier, about wanting a PC that could run the latest AAA titles in 1080p with at least 60 fps. But I did not mention wanting to also wanting to use my PC for Youtube, Editing, and Livestreaming. I must also make note of course that I most likely won't even buy every AAA that is released and it won't be that necessary to have the latest and greatest for every game release. For display I'm using a vizio 1080p 24' and probably won't plan on changing it for a little while. In my last thread you guys' really helped me out in finding a great setup when it comes to just gaming. But I would like to know, how could this rig be changed to fit my liking?

You can use the pcpartpicker perma-link instead of screen shots :P but either works. For live streaming, I would try to see if you could fit a 6600K in and a decent cooler (like the hyper 212 evo). Overclocking that will yield much better results. Or something like an i7-6700 would do even better. I would also look into a GTX 1060 6GB as it will out perform an RX 480 by a little in most titles.

What is your budget

Have you used EVGA PSU's? I've worked with 2 and both times plugging the cables into the board and components was a nightmare.

System: i7 4790K, Hyper 212 EVO, 16 GB Crucial Ballistix, GTX 1070 Super clocked, MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition, Corsair RM 750, Corsair 750D (with 2 additional 140mm NZXT fans up top for exhaust.)

I currently use a G2 850W. It's not any different from plugging in cables on any other PSU imo... I didn't know cables could be a nightmare to plug in lmao

they were for me in both cases... I had to swap out my RM 750 last week and got an EVGA Supernova 650 G2 and jesus. I had to remove the cables after the first go around because I wanted to re manage them and I really had to work it especially on the GPU my RM 750 didn't have that. Well glad you haven't had issues lol I was going to suggest OP doesn't get an EVGA.

I mean I don't see how remanaging would be easy at any point lol. I want to go back in and flip my PSU so it draws air from under the case instead of the inside but I don't wanna bother with the cables lol

Would I be better off selling my old PC all together to put money towards the new rig? It's a Prebuilt I bought from Best Buy almost 4 or 5 years ago, I don't know the specs without having it in front of me.

So the specs on my current PC is as follows

AMD Fx-8310 Processor

1 DDR3 8GB

AMD Radeon R7 240 2Gb

HDD 2tb

Optical Drive

And Integrated Lan

Is there a way I should go about selling my PC? Rather, what's the best way to save money on my new rig?

reuse your old hdd and any case fans, sell off the rest of the build at criagslist or your area's version of it.

One more quick question, is there any tools you could recommend me buying for assembly? Or anything for care and protection and whatnot?

all you need is a MAGNETIC phillips head screwdriver and you should be fine. remember to touch the case occasionally before and during construction to discharge static electricity and don't build your pc while wearing socks and/or on a carpet.
