poe 1080p camera

i am looking for an outdoor surveillance camera something that  has the capability to read a license plate at a range of up to  100 feet or more the farther away it can do it the better 

it must also be a poe camera i can only 1 run cable per camera 4+ cams will be needed 

 

already have a 20tb storage server and a poe switch in place set all that up today  

 

we tried the setup with a 720p poe cam that didn't meet the bosses approval  he wanted greater distance and better quality of the video was not as good as he wanted 

 

as I'm not paying for and cost doesn't really matter to me lol but  less than $500 would be good

I don't know anything about security cameras. However, the manufacturer and description wont tell you the quality. It will say 720p or 1080p quality. But pixels aren't made equal. You will need to read reviews and see picture quality. Others with experience can answer your question in better detail.

iv been checking youtube and looking up the model to try to get an idea how quality  i don't think iv ever owned a camera lol

im thinking something like a Panasonic wv-spv781l that's the best thing i can find anyway
