HDD and windows problem

Hi all, i recently build my new pc and i had an old HDD with windows on it but it was 250gb. i bought a 1TB hdd and installed windows on there (at the windows setup), so that means i didnt needed to use the 250gb anymore. But i can only start pc if both drives are connected,

you didn't put these in some sort f bizarre RAID split, did you?

 

Installed W7 from a clean ISO or CD?

You sure you installed windows on the 1tb drive and not the old 250? Maybe try installing Windows without the 250 plugged in.

Ye the windows logo is on my 1tb drive

The bootloader is probably in the 250gb drive.  So the OS is on the 1tb but the bootloader is on the 250gb drive.  No bootloader, no is boot
