so i guess its a bottleneck i have....i have i5 6500 and gtx 970 8GB DDR4 2133MHz i used to have same specs only difference is my older gpu gtx 760 performed better than my gtx 970example i play most of my games on high preset (becuz i cant see the difference anyway so i rather have more fps) my gtx 760 can in GTA V get 100+ fps but when i play those same settings on my 970 i get 50 - 70 fps LIKE WTF!!! but i just dont get why my i5 6500 should bottleneck a gtx 970? can anyone here help?useally my cpu useage is 80 - 90% and my gpu usage is only 50-60% sometimes a little higher

Should i order i7 6700

Every single time I encounter a performance issue.

Blame drivers first, uninstall display drivers/reboot and re-install them.

Retest and post back if it changed anything...

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

i have done that 3 times now :(

Do you have 3rd-party applications running that "fix/enhance/optimize" your hardware/PC?

Remove all running apps not-needed (inc the SystemTray icons you dont need running)

Some programs (seemingly innocent) can badly screw with PC performance....

i dont know man :/

i noticed if i use DSR and change resolution to 2560x1440 the gtx 970 will do 99% gpu usage and i can get 80-100 FPS wich is good

but why only 50-70 fps on 1080p

LOL THERE IS NO LOGIC IN THIS GAME xD

Nvidia "GFE" isn't resetting/tweaking your details or screwing with details set in game?
