6970 vs 670

670 , more vram , more performance ,lower wattage , and i guess cuda 3.0 or higher

GTX 670 easily. The GTX 670 on par with the GTX 960 while the HD 6970 is about 15% stronger than a GTX 750 Ti. Though a 670 for $40 sounds too good to be true.

 

EDIT: Oops, I initially posted the 670 was on par with the 970, not 960

Yes, just retired a friends 670.  He was perfectly happy with it until he got a 1440p monitor.
