What CPU should I buy?

I am a new computer builder and I was wondering what cpu I should buy. I want to play high end games, stream, and so somewhat heavy editing. Should I go with the i7 6700k?

That should be fine for both gaming and editing. Only thing is its only 4 cores so a 6 core would be better for editing purposes, but that the cpu should be fine.

I have the 6800K, but you most likely wont need it.  6700k is fine and enough for your purpose

I would go with a 6800K instead.

Or if you can wait for Zen and see how it compares to Intel.
