i hate razer

i had the non-backlight balckwidow 2014 after a lass then a year the keys are started to get loose ...it typed some time double from the key i pressed ... or sometimes didn't even typed the letter i wanted

sent to warranty the "clean contacts" but it repeating after a day sent a few time again until i got a new one with the led(added a few NIS)(not RGB)

 

and guess what?!

Yeah this has been a known fact for a long time now. If you want a decent keyboard corsair makes a large range of them. So does logitech and so on. Same with mice. The G502 is one solid mouse for a very competitive price. Not the RGB one. Also steel series

- Razer Naga Hex was horrible. After 1 year it just wasn't usable anymore due to performance degradation and how bloody bad it feels. Usability is horrible. Get regular Naga.

- Razer Vespula mousepad is a joke. I can make a whole post about why if you need.

- Razer Kraken 7.1s broke after 2 years of usage out of the blue - right ear driver thing wouldn't work.

- Razer Synapse is also a fkin joke. It causes performance issues - e.g. my Razer Kraken Pro's sound distortion with bass boost enabled (didn't happen before). Also horrible overall design.

 

On the plus:

- Blackwidow Ultimate been working perfectly since 2013, even after a few spillages.

- Naga Chroma is amazing in feel, usability and everything. Synapse ruins this though, causing tracking issues at times.

- Krakens sound amazing IMO.

- Vespula wrist cushion thing is really comfortable :D

 

The most annoying things though are Razer Synapse and that you won't solve an issue if you get one.

I've got a Razer Blackwidow 2014 I bought from another member and it's fine, but it's mainly used at my office. It's just got the green backlights. 

 

I've had 2 Razer mice. A Mamba TE that died, RMA'd and got a Deathadder since it was going to be another 2 months on a backorder for my mouse. So I was asked if I take something else and I took a Deathadder Chroma.

 

Now my Deathadder Chroma died, 2 mice in less than 8 months from basic usage. Now I'm RMA'ing it but I'm in the market for a new non Razer mouse. 

I only bought the Blackwidow because I wanted to try one, since it seemed to review well. For a productivity keyboard I don't mind it, but I tried gaming with it, and I don't care for it. 

 

Plus it pisses off my employee who can hear me typing every last letter. She hates this keyboard, and I love messing with her.
