Is my PSU dead?

I have recently noticed random shutdowns in my pc. The pc would start for around 10 seconds then shut down. I assumed it was the power supply because everything else worked the day before. I have a 500w PSU and my specs are:

AMD FX 6300

GTX 1060 GB PNY

8GB RAM

Am I correct on my assumption?
