New App Idea

With how social media works now days based off people making actual money by likes on instagram and sponsorships. It got me wondering on an app. It might not work at all in practice but this is my idea. The app will be free and it will benefit the company and you. So the company behind the app gets paid by say Vans, a clothing company. Vans then sends them multiple clothing designs for their upcoming season. Then the company pushes it out to the app and people like it or dislike it. Depending on how it does the company can determine what to use or make that will yield the highest profits due to interest levels. The users of the app won't be bombarded with constant shirts from one company but a range of things depending on what they choose. It opens new opertunities for companies they have never heard of. Then if something they like comes out they can get a notification on where to buy it. What do you guys think?

Just keeping this here as a Isn't that how test audiences work? Or fashion shows for clothes. Or basicly anything. If any, this could do as baseline for what kind of style people like. But when thinking that styles which are IN now are IN because of fashion bloggers etc. I'm not too sure if product development like this would work. It would work for Massdrop/Steam-like deals. Where people could vote for best deal.
