Birthday PC Upgrade

With my birthday quickly approaching, I've been thinking about upgrading my Alienware x51. To see the current pc, you can check out my profile. I have a $200 budget to upgrade my pc as I wish, and I chose to put it in a new case, for more upgradibility, buy a new motherboard b/c the alieware one doesn't really work with other cases, a bigger psu, and a 120GB ssd. Here's the PCPartPicker link "http://bit.ly/2dWsU2M" What do you think? Is there something I should do different?

Your much better off just getting a ssd and a faster gpu, like a rx 460 or 470

But an rx460 seems like the only thing I can squeeze in w/ an ssd, and that's not as good as I would like. Wouldn't it be better to have the parts like a motherboard, ssd, and a bigger case, and then get a better Gpu when I have money again?

Id get the ssd and 460. They will play games just fine at 1080p max and will last for a few years. Id then just get a new system then.

Honestly, if you're getting a new motherboard no matter what, I would suggest you just save your money until you have enough to buy a new system. It's simply not worth it to buy into "old tech", in order to upgrade an older PC.

Or get a 460+SSD, if that fits in your current case slim form factor case.
