GPU Issue

Hi guys, I'm writing to you because recently I've been having a problem with my GPU (MSI Nvidia GTX 970). Everytime I launch into a game my GPU instantly jumps up to 99% usage as shown on the picture (Pic was taken after 10 minutes into The Forest, same happens with League of Legends, GTA V, Hitman, etc). Because of that, I've been having really low FPS in games, going from smooth 60 to 30 or even worse in some cases, which never happened before (In the same games, with same software opened). It's been happening for the past week or so, I think since the new GeForce Experience came out (I don't know if that's to blame). The GPU has no overclock (pic below) or anything done to it. 

I've seen issues on forums with Low Power Mode, but Nvidia Control Panel is set to max performance, therefore it shouldn't be a problem.  

 

Any ideas?

That's normal. And in fact you want as high GPU usage as possible when gaming.

 

Except if it's a low enough demanding game where 5000 FPS doesn't make sense.

Yes, but i'm getting lower FPS, right now I'm having average of 25FPS on The Forest when I used to have easily 60. Same on other games, dropping frames to like 30ish in League which never happened before

Remove the Geforce experience, since it might turn on settings you don't want maybe?Assuming you don't use it. Also it could be drivers, so you could also run older drivers you know that worked before. With install you can decide what parts you install incase you don't use Geforce experience. I never use it, so thats what I do.

Will try that, hopefully it'll work
