saving problems on linux

so i booted my old pc off an usb stick with linux how do i get it to work without the stick and save changes that i have done?

So if I'm understanding correctly you want to install it into the PC so you don't need to use the stick and do it'll save changes right? If so, there's usually a program on the live USB to install it. There's usually a shortcut on the desktop that says install Linux mint or something like that. Otherwise check through the programs menu.

ye the shortcut was not on the desktop i had to find it in the files but ty for help
