Hi would like your help on this power supply,

I got this new power supply as a replacement for my Thermaltake Smart SE 530w 80+ Which died on me for unknown reasons. Since I'm a bummer for PSU's and on a tight budget with that unexpected scenario I got this PSU.

My question is, is this a good power supply?

Processor - Intel core i5-6400 2.6hgz
Motherboard- Asus B150 pro gaming aura
Ram - Hyper x fury 2x4gb
Storage - Seagate 1 TB
Casing - Thermaltake Versa h21 mid tower

3x 120mm Case fans.

1 gaming mouse and 1 gaming keyboard

Planning to get a GTX 1060 or GTX 960 depending on my situation, will this PSU able to support that 1060 or is this PSU not reliable?

if not can you guys recommend and explain why you chose that Psu. I want to understand this PSU's.

Looking for budget PSU with 80+ efficiency and semi modular. Thanks for helping. :)

The Cooler Master Thunder series are awful.

If you want a decent semi-modular option, take a look at the Corsair CX_50M series (the grey labelled ones, not the green ones).

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

It's not a great PSU. An EVGA GQ or B2 will both work great for you and will both only come in minimum wattage that is way overkill for a 1060. If they're too spendy then a CX450M or Seasonic S12 430W will also do nicely.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
