So here is the problem,

I am running Windows 8.1 on my computer. After logging in it will BSOD on me with a different reason each time. After restarting a few times I get the message that windows could not load because of a file windows.efi missing. Then it advises me to use my installation media to recover windows. I insert my installation media and boot from it. Unfortunately each time I do it, it gets stuck on the loading screen with the windows logo.

Then i restart the computer(without the installation media) and it directly boots to startup repair. I start system restore and initiate it. After initiation it shows the BSOD on initialization.

Help me please. I need to get this system back into working order.

1. Clean install of Windows.

2. Memory problem.

3. Storage problem.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Is your CPU is overclocked?
Same thing happened to me few days earlier, i was pushing my CPU OC a bit higher then i started getting BSODs on startup login screen, i rollback to stable OC but this time my windows was doing startup recovery, i cancled it and went "continue without troubleshooting" and it worked for me.

Have you reset CMOS yet? Could try installing right after resetting CMOS without changing BIOS settings
