I am thinking of getting these PoE cameras.

It seems as though Hikvision cameras are very popular; however, they are harder to buy from reputable sellers here in Canada.

What do you guys think?

Any other brand/model suggestions?

Hikvision are good. Can't you order online from abroad?

That resolution, that FPS, and only 3 MP... Sounds very good to me... That's why I said "how".

That resolution is about 3 megapixels.

 

Megapixels is a measurement of the number of pixels on a camera's sensor.

I don't want to wait for shipments from China. I have also heard that most of the Hikvisions from abroad have Chinese non upgradeable firmware, idk about warranty.

I have called local dealers but they only sell to "certified" installers.

Never even heard of hikvision. How do you know they are good? My company installs all different types of cameras too.

I have gone on multiple forums and Reddit (home defense and security camera) sections and noticed many users were very satisfied with their hikvision cameras. However, I think trendnet is just a more expensive rebranded version of hikvision. 

 

What's your company called? Do you do installs? Any tips for me?
