Quick question between these headphones.

I currently use a set of Rig 500e for gaming and I really love them. I think they sound great and more importantly they're comfy and I like the surround sound. But I was talking to my buddies and they're all saying that these aren't good and that I should just try out a set of real headphones and if I don't like them as much I can send them back, and if I do like them more I could sell my headset on ebay. So I was thinking about getting one of these headphones but the reviews are all so positive that I'm a little unsure of what to get. So I figured I'd just post on here and see what you guys think.

One is the Audio Technica

And the other one is a pair of Philips

And then just for laughs I was also looking at this pair of audio technicas as well, but they're closed back so I'm thinking that they won't have as good of a sound stage and make my ears hotter.

What do you guys think?

The m50x has NO soundstage at all, it is really rare that such a thing happens and I am a bit impressed that they could basically remove the soundstage.

The AD700x has the biggest soundstage, but the SHP9500 has more bass. The wings on the AD700x are a bit weird, some people love it, some hate it.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff
