Pc restart instead of shutdown after brief powerloss.

Hello. Fast question. I dont know why it happened.

 

In my house powerloss ( 1 second? ) was very brief ,then pc rebooted instead of shutdown.


My pc get restarted instead of shutdown.Any ideas?

I ask because i have in bios option AC Power Loss POWER OFF.

It's normal for it to restart on Asus motherboards. Are you living on the west coast where power outages are happening because of the storms, by chance (or perhaps in the SW US)? I'm in Portland and people down the road from me are without power because winds are killing things and dropping them on power lines.

But why it restarted instead of shutdown? Power loss was very brief for just almost 1 second.
