Surely it doesn't matter? It will have whatever version it needs, so unless it's 4k, it will have 1.4. They're mostly inter compatible anyway.

It's HDMI 1.4. The monitor will be limited to 60 Hz input at 1080p over HDMI though. You will need to use Dual-Link DVI to get 144 Hz.

No it's not limited to 60hz at 1080p, I have benq XL2411, with HDMI I can 1920x1080 at 90hz with custom resolution ( NVIDIA ) and 120hz at 720p.
