Since when does the EOS 50D suppoert video without ML?

So I had Magic lantern installed on my EOS 50d, which allows for video recording. After a while I grew tired of the overlay and just uninstalled it. 

 

To my amazement, while playing around in liveview, I managed to record video! 

 

Anyone have a clue what's going on and how this happened? 

 

Is it possible I didn't remove ML completely?

That's the issue, I have absolutely no idea, I also have no control over video settings, I've been through the menus and found nothing regarding video recording.
