Windows 10 Uefi dual boot problem

I have installed remix os. which is a linux based os. the installation was successful but i cannot boot to remix os. the grub boot menu is not displayed, windows is derectly loading. i have disabled secure boot. turned os legacy support. the bcd entry is present.

Does it boot normally if you manually select the disk that remix os is installed on? I'm assuming you're using two separate disks here, as that's the way to do it.

Check the disk boot order in the UEFI, you should be able to see entries such as (trying to word this from memory):-

 

windows boot manager

GRUB boot manager

 

And select which one is your priority.

But you should still be able to force boot whichever disk you want too.

NO. i am using a laptop. and it only if select the grubx64.efi file

that option is not available.
