Gtx 1060

DC

I have gtx 1060 6gb from gigabyte oc and windforcr cooling.     Why is my gpu fan not spinning? Gpu is getting hot

It should kick in at some point, run a stress test like furmark's burn test and see if they kick in.

Define "hot". I believe Gigabyte is one of the manufacturers that has its cards set by default to not kick in the fans until ~60C.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Download MSI afterburner and set a custom fan curve in the settings.

If the Fans start at 60°, everything is be alright.

the windforce version does not have led lighting, only the g1 gaming does

well he lied,sort of.  The gigabyte cooler is called windforce yes, but the version of the card is not the g1 gaming
